Rana – CBGB’s – New York, NY
Last night Rana was front and center at venerable CBGB’s, playing in a bennefit to help keep the historic hole in the wall from being shut down. The faithful are buzzing (as usual), and I know at least one first time viewer who came away with some newfound respect for the rockers.
The band also made mention of a four week Thursday-night residency at the Tribeca Rock Club (Sept. 15, 22, 28 and Oct. 6). That’s doubly great for yours truly as it’s a few blocks from where I now earn my daily bread.
